Dear Rotary friend,
RC Blagoevgrad-Centrum (D2482) recently received a letter (see below image) from our friends in D2232 Ukraine, seeking our help in getting a good-quality second-hand vehicle for evacuating the wounded from battlefields and delivering medical supplies.
During the weekly meeting on 19th February 2024, RC Blagoevgrad-Centrum decided to kick off a project. The goal? To buy an all-terrain/off-road vehicle (think TOYOTA HILUX).
A decent second-hand vehicle (about six years old) with a TOYOTA warranty would cost around 20,000 euros from Bulgarian TOYOTA dealers. Luckily, three of these dealers are Rotarians, making this project possible.
We have reached out to all Rotary clubs in Bulgaria and D2482 Bulgaria, with whom we’ve previously teamed up to help Ukraine.
We’d really appreciate it if you could support our project, either via the District, as a club or individually. With your help, we can get at least 1 good-quality second-hand vehicle to make a difference where it’s needed most.

- RC Blagoevgrad-Centrum will give certificates to the donators.
We’d be incredibly grateful for your support in this endeavour, as it would greatly aid our friends from D2232 Ukraine.
